Puligny-Montrachet Le Cailleret 1er Cru 2018 - domaine de Montille

Tasting notes

"One of the most tensile, introverted whites in the cellar is the 2018 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets, a medium to full-bodied, chalky and incisive wine redolent of pear, white flowers and crushed rocks. This shows plenty of potential, but it really needs more élevage to show all its cards."

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

Alix de Montille and her brother Etienne have taken the reins of their highly-respected family-estate, following the path of their father Hubert de Montille who took the job in 1947.

The task would be enough for most people but Alix and Etienne opened a second front in 2003 with a Négoce business (Maison Deux Montille) to complement their experience with purchased grapes or must.
