Château De Sales 2000

Tasting notes

Only a small proportion of the harvest is aged in barrels, so the wines are never aggressive or too woody. This wine can be enjoyed when it is young.

"The finest De Sales since the 1982 (probably better), the deep ruby/purple-colored 2000 boasts sweet aromas of soil, kirsch liqueur, raspberries, and currants. Layered and opulent, with sweet tannin and medium to full body, it is atypically large-scaled for a wine from this estate. "
