Gattinara Vigneto Osso San Grato 2014 - Antoniolo

Tasting notes

The powerful, persistent taste of wine keeps you in suspense. In his bouquet joined the shades of cherry, tomato leaves, clay and tea. Aeration gives a high saturation to fruit tones and gives harmony to the whole composition. A long, persistent aftertaste, enveloping the sky, concludes with mineral notes.

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

Antoniolo was established in 1948 and was the first producer to bottle cru wines in the small DOCG of Gattinara. Located in the Alpine foothills, it is well over an hour’s drive north of Barolo and Barbaresco. The Antoniolo family owns over 14 hectares of vineyards in five plots.

“Antoniolo’s bottles contain the best of Northern Piedmont’s heritage. Hard-boned and only apparently lean, they can survive the decades while making all their greatness immediately obvious.” – Gambero Rosso
