A historic estate in the heart of Médoc
Classified as a Second Growth in 1855, Château Pichon Comtesse de Lalande embodies Pauillac excellence. With a legacy dating back to the 17th century, it has been led by visionary women, including Virginie de Lalande and May-Eliane de Lencquesaing. Since 2007, it has been owned by Louis Roederer, continuing its passionate heritage.

An exceptional terroir
The 89-hectare vineyard lies on deep gravel soils typical of Pauillac, with a unique feature: part of the vines are located in the neighboring commune of Saint-Julien, adding an extra touch of finesse.​

Winemaking and aging
Vinification is parcel-based, with fermentation in temperature-controlled wooden and stainless steel vats. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, about 60% of which are new, imparting complexity and harmony.​

Wine style
Pichon Comtesse stands out for its elegance, silky structure, and aromatic depth. Aromas of blackcurrant, violet, cedar, and sweet spices. On the palate, a velvety texture, fine tannins, and a long, persistent finish.​
