"The 2019 Sancerre Le Paradis is bright yet intense, fresh and elegant on the intensely aromatic and slightly flinty nose. Round and intense yet also pure and fresh on the palate, this is a dense, compactly structured, persistently fruity and finely iodine-inflected Sancerre with a long, crisp and crunchy-mineral finish. The Paradis is a safe bet in dry and warm vintages due to its 40+-year-old vines in clay/limestone soils that are not too meager. (...)"

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

The Vacheron Estate covers 48 hectares, half of which are located on flint soils, and the other half on limestone soils. The winegrowers Jean-Louis, Denis, Jean-Dominique et Jean-Laurent Vacheron chose to express the typicities of their different slots separately: the vines have been certified organic agriculture, using biodynamie since 2008. Their cuvee "Les Romains" is a great expression of Sauvignon Blanc, and the cuvee "Les Belles Dames" a great Pinot Noir. The Vacheron Estate therefore demonstrates that exceptional wines can be made in Sancerre.
