Les Moulins Saumur Rouge is 100% Cabernet Franc sourced from smalls parcels between 7 and 80 years of age in the communes of Montreuil-Bellay and Brézé. With élevage in stainless steel, this is a bright, fresh and crunchy red ideal for early drinking, though there is plenty of complexity and depth lurking beneath.

Romain Guiberteau has been in charge of the 14.5 hectare family domain in the communes of Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé and Bizay since 1996.

The vineyard has been certified organic since 2003 and is planted with Chenin and Cabernet Franc. Some of the vines are around 60 years old.
