The 2015 is still tightly wound and reflects the density and power of the vintage.

Expect a fine, long, powdery palate loaded with ferrous, inky, spicy red and dark cherry-scented fruit and long sappy close.

An endlessly fascinating, unique Saumur and a wonderful alternative to young Burgundy.

Romain Guiberteau has been in charge of the 14.5 hectare family domain in the communes of Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé and Bizay since 1996.

The vineyard has been certified organic since 2003 and is planted with Chenin and Cabernet Franc. Some of the vines are around 60 years old.
