The Domaine Ganevat Chardonnay en Billat 2016 from the Côtes du Jura is an exceptional white wine made from Chardonnay grown on marneous schist soils, with an average vine age of 50 years. The wine is vinified without sulfites and aged for 4 years in demi-muids in a humid cellar, with regular topping up. It reveals aromas of ripe white fruits, lemon, and floral notes, complemented by a touch of buttery richness and minerality. On the palate, it is vibrant, with a smooth texture and a long, persistent finish. A true expression of terroir, offering both freshness and creaminess, with excellent aging potential. Ideal for lovers of elegant and complex wines.
