"The 2009 Echezeaux (from Combe d’Orveaux) is a powerful, dark wine. Sweet, layered and totally inviting, the Echezeaux draws the taster in with its deep, expressive fruit and superb density. The vines here date to 1926. The low yields of just 20 hectoliters per hectare and relatively cool microclimate contribute to the wine’s inward, mysterious personality. (...)"
