"A superb wine. Chardonnay from a 0.7ha, east-facing slope in Chenôve, renowned for its wines since the seventh century, but demoted in modern times to regional status. The 2019 - just over a year in cask and sulphured only slightly at bottling - is a delicious Chardonnay, with aromas of ripe apple, beeswax, white flowers and mineral. The texture is dense and the length is exquisite; this is a wine to discover. (CC)"
