Offering up aromas of nutmeg, pear, crisp yellow apple, fresh bread and smoke, the 2019 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Clos de la Chatenière is medium to full-bodied, layered and chalky, with a bright spine of acidity and impressive structuring extract cloaked in an enveloping core of fruit. This is another serious, structured wine from Lamy.
