Saint-Aubin Premier Cru 2018 - Clos de Montceau Jean Claude Bachelet

Tasting notes

"The 2018 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Clos de Montceau exhibits scents of lemon oil, mandarin, white flowers and fresh bread. Medium to full-bodied, bright and lively, it's saline and chalky, with fine tension and cut. It's the fourth vintage produced from this young-vine parcel."

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

Jean-Baptiste Bachelet and his brother, Benoit farm biodynamically, although the winery is not certified.

The white wines are matured in wooden barriques, of which around 10% are new. Bachelet's wines are exceptionally well balanced and display understated citrus and mineral characteristics. They possess good medium-term ageing potential.
