Auxey-Duresses 2009 - domaine Coche Dury

Tasting notes

Allen Meadows - Burghound

" This is also agreeably fresh but notably riper with a layered red berry fruit liqueur nose that evidences added notes of underbrush, iron and earth. There is impressive volume to the medium-bodied flavors that possess fine mid-palate concentration and while there is a touch of backend rusticity, this is balanced, impressively persistent and best of all, utterly delicious. This is a wine of pleasure that could be drunk immediately but should reward those who wish to cellar it too. (Drink starting 2017)"
