"The 2012 Corton Le Clos du Roi is striking. Beautiful, lifted aromas meld into sweet red fruit in a deceptively medium-bodied Burgundy that is all about grace. Mint, wild flowers, sweet red cherries and pine inform the precise, crystalline finish. A weightless Burgundy endowed with elegance and superb purity, the 2012 should age gracefully for a number of years. Today, it is magnificent. The 80% whole clusters add dimensions of complexity and nuance that are a wonder to behold. - "
