The Clos de Vougeot 2002 from Domaine Jacques Prieur is an iconic Grand Cru from the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy. This 100% Pinot Noir wine displays a deep ruby-red color, indicative of its depth and aging potential. The nose is complex, offering aromas of fresh red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, delicate floral notes of rose, and subtle spicy hints of green pepper and licorice. On the palate, the wine is marked by a dense structure, rich tannins, and a harmonious balance of red fruit and spice flavors. The long, persistent finish showcases its exceptional quality. A wine built for aging, it pairs wonderfully with refined dishes such as game or aged cheeses.
