"Medium red with an amber edge. Full-blown aromas of redcurrant and marzipan. Wonderfully sweet and silky, with lovely harmonious acidity giving energy and shape to the very concentrated middle palate. The redcurrant flavor carries through in the mouth. This plush, satisfying, seductively sweet wine has plenty of life ahead of it, thanks to its substantial ripe, buffered tannins, but it would be fantastic now with food. Very complete Clos Vougeot. "
