Tasting notes

Chambolle Les Sentiers is produced on a tiny, clay and chalk rich parcel of 23 ares. The vines were planted in 1966. The grapes are fermented with indigenous yeasts before barrel-maturing in oak (25% new) for 14 to 18 months.

This cuvée has intense aromas of red and dark fruit. The tannins are very silky on the palate and there is a highly subtle quality to the texture and flavours, a distinctive but pleasant acidity and an enjoyable long finish.
