Chambertin 2008 - Denis Mortet

Tasting notes

"(...) the 2008 Chambertin Grand Cru has a really quite lovely nose that is so pure and perhaps it represents the first Chambertin from Arnaud Mortet that unequivocally exudes terroir expression. In a nutshell - this just smells of Chambertin - it takes the taster there. The palate is medium-bodied with pastille-like purity, a fine-boned Chambertin with black cherries and subtle cassis notes, sorbet fresh towards the long and sensual finish.(...)"
