"Tasted from bottle, the 2017 Bourgogne Aligoté confirms its superb performance last year, offering up pretty aromas of oatmeal, beeswax, crisp green apple and white flowers. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural and incisive, with a racier, more chiseled profile than the 2018 rendition, concluding with a chalky finish. One of the finest Aligoté bottlings produced, this reliably age-worthy cuvée will merit some time in the cellar: the 2008 vintage, for example, is in its prime today."
