Batard Montrachet 2001 - J-M. Boillot

Tasting notes

91-93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Subtle aromas of pineapple, smoke and minerals. Dense, spicy and concentrated, with excellent lift. Flavor dominated by pineapple. But quite closed and uncompromisingly dry today, and much less showy than the Truffieres. Will it be better in the long run?" (Sep/Oct '02)
