"(...)  There is passion fruit and other tropical fruit aromas here. On the palate, this is a full-bodied, dense, refined and elegant, lush and generous Rangen with firm and fine tannins, intense and juicy fruit and lingering salinity. This is very long and complex yet not really powerful or mighty. However, it fills every corner of the palate; it's dense yet not heavy and rather light, rich but floating, vital and saline. It's a fantastic Riesling. "

The Humbrecht family viticultural roots can be traced back to The Thirty Years War of 1620.

Today they own forty hectares across five villages in the Haut-Rhin, the southern half of the picturesque vineyards overlapping the Vosges foothills, treasured for its idyllic climate, tapestry of terroirs as much for its half-timbered houses.
