Domaine de Trevallon 1998

Tasting notes

The Domaine de Trévallon 1998 is an iconic red wine from the Provence region, crafted by Éloi Dürrbach. Made from an equal blend of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, this vintage stands out for its aromatic complexity and remarkable aging potential.

Visually, the Trévallon 1998 displays a deep color with garnet reflections. The nose is powerful, revealing aromas of ripe black fruits, leather, blond tobacco, and undergrowth, with spicy nuances reminiscent of pepper and porcini mushrooms. On the palate, the attack is smooth, evolving into a well-integrated tannic structure. The finish is long, marked by a lovely freshness and an aromatic persistence with notes of garrigue and minerality.
