Tasting notes

All of the 750ml bottles of this were sold to Air France for first class, and we were able to procure some that were held back in magnum.

"Wine of extraordinary class where delicacy, complexity, purity and elegance come into perfect harmony today. For the eye, it presents us with a superb slightly golden sparkling yellow robe, a sign of perfect maturity. The effervescence is subtle with extremely fine bubbles which introduce us to the world of the infinitely small. For the nose, floral notes enhanced by hints of yellow fruits, like the greengage, but also yeasty notes, suggestive of biscuits, give this wine charm and distinction. The Chardonnay grape contributes its spicy notes which harmoniously enhance all the sensations perceived. On the palate, the wine is deliciously full-bodied with almost a bit of fat, thus offering a perfect balance, exemplary honesty and coveted elegance, all with an acidity finely controlled by a few hints of frangipane."
