The vineyards of Weingut Kühling-Gillot are situated on the steep slopes of the Roter Hang, between Nierstein and Nackenheim along the Rhine River. The winery owns prestigious plots such as Hipping, Pettenthal, Ölberg, Rothenberg, and Orbel, all classified as Grosses Gewächs. These high-quality vineyard sites guarantee limited yields and exceptional grapes, resulting in wines of remarkable finesse and complexity.
The winery adopted biodynamic farming in 2005, a sustainable viticulture method that focuses on soil vitality and ecosystem balance. Winemaking is carried out naturally, preserving the unique character of each vineyard site. This approach allows the wines to fully express the rich and diverse terroir of the Rheinhessen region.
