Guiberteau

Since 1996, Romain Guiberteau has been at the helm of the family estate, managing 14.5 hectares across the communes of Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, and Bizay. Certified organic since 2003, the vineyard is planted with Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, with some vines over 60 years old, ensuring exceptional concentration and complexity in every cuvée.

The white wines, notably the Saumur Blanc "Brézé", are renowned for their intense minerality, with aromas of citrus, white flowers, and flint, evolving over time into notes of honey and dried fruits. The reds, such as Les Arboises, offer an elegant structure with fine tannins, showcasing flavors of red fruits, spices, and a subtle earthy touch.

The winemaking process is respectful of the fruit and terroir, with native yeast fermentation and aging on fine lees in stainless steel or barrels. Each bottle embodies artisan craftsmanship and respect for nature, offering an impressive aging potential, making them perfect for collectors seeking premium wines that evolve beautifully over time.
