Falesco

The Falesco Estate, founded in 1979 by brothers Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella, is located in Montefiascone, in the Lazio region. The Cotarella family aimed to revive the region's old vineyards, cultivating lesser-known indigenous grape varieties. Falesco is known for its unique blends of grapes such as Aleatico, Trebbiano, and Verdicchio, which bring rich aromas and a complex flavor profile.

Among Falesco's flagship wines is the Vitiano Rosso, a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sangiovese, offering good structure and notes of ripe fruit and dark chocolate. The Vitiano Bianco, made from Verdicchio and Vermentino, is characterized by its freshness and complexity. Finally, Est! Est!! Est!!! di Montefiascone, a white wine made from Trebbiano and Malvasia, is known for its crisp acidity and refreshing character.

The Falesco estate is also owned by Ricardo Cotarella, a renowned winemaker and consultant to some of Italy's greatest estates, which further attests to the excellence and influence of the estate in Italy’s wine scene.
