Côtes du Jura

The Côtes du Jura appellation is located in the Jura wine region in eastern France, covering a broad area that includes the Jura department and part of the neighboring Franche-Comté region. Known for its wide variety of wines, the appellation produces whites, reds, rosés, as well as Vin Jaune and Vin de Paille, all from distinctive terroirs.

Characteristics of Côtes du Jura wines:

• White wines: Primarily made from Chardonnay and Savagnin grapes, these white wines are fresh, fruity, and have a remarkable minerality, with often impressive aging potential. Vin Jaune, a unique wine from the region, is aged under a layer of yeast, offering nutty and dried fruit aromas.
