The Arbois appellation is located in the Jura region, in eastern France, and is one of the oldest AOCs in the area, established in 1936. It takes its name from the town of Arbois, considered the wine capital of the Jura. The vineyards cover approximately 800 hectares spread across 13 communes, with soils primarily made up of marl and limestone, which impart a great minerality to the wines.

Arbois wines are known for their diversity. White wines are mainly made from Chardonnay and Savagnin grapes, offering fresh, complex wines that age well. Red wines, produced from Poulsard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir, are elegant, fine, and well-structured. Rosé wines, often made from Poulsard, are light and fruity, perfect for summer meals.

Arbois wines are also aged in oak barrels, which adds woody aromas and a solid structure. They pair wonderfully with a wide range of dishes, from seafood to red meats and aged cheeses.
