Le Chambertin is a Grand Cru vineyard in Gevrey-Chambertin, the northernmost wine village in Burgundy's Cote de Nuits. The vineyard produces exclusively red wines made from Pinot Noir, which rank among the world's very finest.
Among the most famous Chambertin wines are those from Domaine Armand Rousseau, Domaine Leroy, Domaine Dugat-Py.
Chambertin-Clos de Bèze is a Grand Cru vineyard adjacent to Chambertin itself.
Clos de Bèze is 36.3 acres, about 3.6 acres larger than Chambertin itself, and produces roughly 5,700 cases each year, in comparison to Chambertin's 5,000.

Chapelle-Chambertin is a Grand Cru vineyard and corresponding appellation of the Cote de Nuits in Burgundy.
The vineyard site is located on the lower slopes of Gevrey-Chambertin's Grand Cru belt and the site's 13.5 acres (5.5 ha) of vines currently produce around 13'500 bottles of wine per year.
More informations about the appellation Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru :
Surface : 5 ha 48 ares;
Annual Production : 20'000 bottles;
Maturity : 10 to 15 years according to the vintage;
The largest Chambertin satellite, this 71.6-acre vineyard is nearly twice the size of Chambertin itself. It currently covers the production of around 150'000 bottles of wine per year.
Charmes occupies the lowest and most shallow slopes of Gevrey-Chambertin's Grand Cru belt.
Mazis-Chambertin is one of Chambertin's satellite Grands Crus, lying slightly north of the Chambertin-Clos de Bèze vineyard. This makes it the most northerly Grand Cru in Gevrey-Chambertin and ultimately in the Cote de Nuits.
The vineyards' 21.7 acres of growing space make it rather large for a Grand Cru, although smaller than the qualitatively challenged vineyard Chambertin.
The Mazoyeres-Chambertin appellation was created in July 1937, along with those of its eight Grand Cru neighbors. It currently covers the production of around 9000 bottles of wine per year.
Located in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, the Ruchottes-Chambertin appellation is, with the exception of Griotte-Chambertin, the smallest of Gevrey's Grands Crus. Only 7.4 acres are used for Ruchottes-labeled wine, which makes for just over 1,000 cases per year produced.
Latricières-Chambertin is one of the eight grand cru vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin. When they are young, Latricières-Chambertin wines tend to be slightly more rustic than Gevrey-Chambertin's other grand cru vineyards.
This 2.69 hectares is the smallest Grand Cru in Gevrey and only Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet, Romanée-Conti and La Romanée are smaller.
Griotte-Chambertin is one of the more sought-after names in Gevrey-Chambertin, due to its fresher, more delicate style of Pinot Noir.
Clos Saint-Jacques is a Premier Cru vineyard used to produce red wine from Pinot noir grapes in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy.
The vineyard was named after a statue of Saint James that had been placed in the area, as it was a resting point on the way to Santiago de Compostela, the destination of the Way of St. James pilgrimage.
The vineyard is 6.7 hectares in size and there are five strips, running from the top to the bottom of the vineyard, currently owned by five different producers.
The largest holder is Domaine Armand Rousseau with the original 2.20 hectares purchased by the Domaine. Sylvie Esmonin, the granddaughter of Henri Esmonin, holds 1.60 hectares. Bruno Clair and Maison Louis Jadot own 1 hectare each, which was split between them from the land purchased by Domaine Clair-Dau. Domaine Fourrier holds 0.89 of a hectare that was originally purchased by the family.
