A de Arlaud: A Fine Burgundy Négociant Venture

The A de Arlaud négociant label was launched in 2012 by Cyprien Arlaud, a vigneron based in Morey-Saint-Denis, Burgundy. This complementary activity to the family estate allows him to explore other Burgundian terroirs while maintaining the same high standards of quality.

Philosophy and Practices

Cyprien Arlaud personally cultivates the vineyards for most of the négociant appellations, ensuring full control over grape quality. The viticulture follows biodynamic principles, with several plots undergoing organic certification.

Harvesting is done by hand, and every stage—from vinification to bottling—is carried out with the same precision and care as the wines from the estate. Aging takes place in oak barrels for 14 to 18 months, with no more than 25% new oak. Bottling is performed without fining or filtration, in accordance with the lunar calendar.
