Located in the western hills of Oakville, Harlan Estate is one of California’s most prestigious wineries. Founded in 1984 by William Harlan, the estate was designed with the goal of creating a California "first growth" wine estate. For over two decades, Harlan Estate has remained committed to producing wines of exceptional quality, and it has rightfully earned its status as a Premier Cru in California. The estate rises above the fabled Napa Valley benchlands, benefiting from the region’s unique terroir.

Spanning over 250 acres, with 40 acres dedicated to vineyards, Harlan Estate follows an artisan approach to winemaking. The combination of the estate’s terroir, small yields, and meticulous vineyard management results in wines with incredible complexity and aging potential.

Harlan Estate wines are renowned for their richness, concentration, and elegant tannic structure. With aromas of dark fruits, spices, and chocolate, each vintage reflects the pure expression of Napa Valley. The flagship wine, Harlan Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, regularly receives top ratings from wine critics, including a 97-point score from James Suckling for the 1993 vintage.
